Shloka 66

उवाच माधव: काले धर्मपुत्र॑ युधिष्ठिरम्‌ । दिष्ट्या जयसि कौरव्य दिष्ट्या भीष्मो निपातित:

sañjaya uvāca | uvāca mādhavaḥ kāle dharmaputraṁ yudhiṣṭhiram | diṣṭyā jayasi kauravya diṣṭyā bhīṣmo nipātitaḥ ||

Sañjaya nói: Đúng lúc, Mādhava (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) cất lời với Dharmaputra Yudhiṣṭhira: “Phúc thay cho ngươi, hỡi hậu duệ nhà Kuru—ngươi đang thắng thế. Và cũng nhờ phúc phần ấy mà Bhīṣma đã bị quật ngã.” Lời nói ấy đặt biến cố chiến trường không chỉ như một thành công chiến thuật, mà như một bước ngoặt do định mệnh cho phép, mang sức nặng đạo lý lớn lao—bởi người ngã xuống là bậc trưởng lão được tôn kính, kẻ gìn giữ Kuru-dharma.
