सह भीष्मेण सर्वेषां प्रापतन् हृदयानि नः । महाराज! महात्मा पितामह भीष्मको रथसे नीचे गिरते देखकर हम सब लोगोंके हृदय भी उनके साथ ही गिर पड़े
saha bhīṣmeṇa sarveṣāṃ prāpatann hṛdayāni naḥ | mahārāja! mahātmā pitāmaha bhīṣmako rathase nīce girate dekhakara hama saba logoṃke hṛdaya bhī unke sātha hī gira paṛe |
Sañjaya thưa: “Tâu Đại vương, khi bậc đại hồn—tổ phụ Bhīṣma—ngã xuống khỏi chiến xa, thì như thể trái tim của tất cả chúng thần cũng rơi theo Người. Thấy vị trưởng lão đáng tôn kính bị quật ngã giữa chiến trường, dũng khí và sự vững chãi nội tâm của chúng thần sụp đổ; bởi Người là cột trụ của phe ta và là hiện thân của bổn phận võ sĩ.”
