मध्येन कुरुसैन्यानां द्रावयामास वाहिनीम्‌ । उस समय सेनाके अग्रभागमें खड़े हुए धनुर्धर अर्जुनने कौरव-सेनाके भीतर प्रवेश करके आपके सैनिकोंको खदेड़ना आरम्भ किया

Transliteration

madhyena kurusainyānāṃ drāvayāmāsa vāhinīm |

Translation

Sañjaya thưa: Arjuna, cung thủ đứng nơi mũi quân, đã xông thẳng vào trận doanh Kaurava và bắt đầu xua đuổi binh lính của ngài, chém xuyên qua chính giữa đội hình Kuru. Câu kệ nêu bật đà tiến của ý chí chính nghĩa trong chiến trận: tài nghệ kỷ luật, khi hướng vào bổn phận đã chọn, có thể làm tan tác cả một đạo quân đông đảo.
