भीष्मरथाभिमुख्यं — Arjuna’s advance with Śikhaṇḍin; Duḥśāsana’s interception
व्यमृद्नन् समरे राजंस्तुरगाश्न नरान् रणे । एवं ते बहुधा राजनू् प्रत्यमृदूनन् परस्परम्
sañjaya uvāca |
vyamṛdnan samare rājan turagāś ca narān raṇe |
evaṃ te bahudhā rājan pratyamṛdūnan parasparam nareśvara ||
Sañjaya thưa: “Tâu Đại vương, trong cuộc giao tranh, những con ngựa đã giẫm đạp quân bộ. Vì thế, hỡi bậc chúa tể loài người, các chiến sĩ ấy hết lần này đến lần khác nghiền nát lẫn nhau trong cơn chen ép của chiến trận.”
