Nakula’s Declaration and the Uñchavṛtti Brāhmaṇa’s Superior Merit (Āśvamedhika Parva, Adhyāya 92)
वृत्ते शुद्धे स्थिता नित्यमिन्द्रियैश्वाप्पबाधिता: । उपातिष्ठ न्त तं यज्ञ यजन्तस्ते महर्षय:
vṛtte śuddhe sthitā nityam indriyaiś cāpy abādhitāḥ | upātiṣṭhanta taṃ yajñaṃ yajantaste maharṣayaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: Luôn an trú trong hạnh kiểm thanh tịnh, họ không bao giờ bị các giác quan khuấy động. Những bậc đại thánh ấy đứng bên tế lễ, cử hành và hoàn tất các nghi thức. Đời sống kỷ luật, không dao động nội tâm, khiến họ xứng đáng nâng đỡ yajña như một dharma hiển hiện.
