पाण्डव-वृष्णि-समागमः तथा अश्वमेध-अनुज्ञा | Reunion at the Kuru Court and Authorization of the Aśvamedha

तान्‌ समीपगतान श्रु॒त्वा निर्ययुर्वृष्णिपुड्रवा:,वृष्णिवंशके प्रमुख वीरोंने जब सुना कि पाण्डव लोग नगरके समीप आ गये हैं, तब वे उनकी अगवानीके लिये बाहर निकले

tān samīpagatān śrutvā niryayur vṛṣṇipuṅgavāḥ

Vaiśampāyana nói: Nghe tin các Pāṇḍava đã đến gần thành, những dũng sĩ hàng đầu của dòng Vṛṣṇi liền ra ngoài nghênh đón—một cử chỉ đúng lễ nghi và bổn phận thân tộc, biểu lộ sự kính trọng và sự sẵn sàng tiếp đãi khách theo dharma.
