नावं न शक्यमारुह्ु स्थले विपरिवर्तितुम्‌ । तथैव रथमारुहा नाप्सु चर्या विधीयते

Transliteration

nāvaṁ na śakyam āruḍhuṁ sthale viparivartitum | tathaiva ratham āruhyā nāpsu caryā vidhīyate |

Translation

Vāyu nói: “Như không thể lên thuyền rồi đi lại trên đất khô, và như không thể lên xe rồi bắt nó đi trên nước, cũng vậy: các nghiệp khác nhau do chúng sinh tạo tác dẫn đến những nơi chốn khác nhau. Ở đời này, người làm loại hành động nào thì nhận lấy kết quả tương ứng.”
