कālacakra-वर्णनम् तथा āśrama-धarma-निरूपणम्

संस्कारै: संस्कृत: पूर्व यथावच्चरितव्रत: । जातौ गुणविशिष्टायां समावर्तेत तत्त्ववित्‌

Transliteration

saṃskāraiḥ saṃskṛtaḥ pūrvaṃ yathāvac caritavrataḥ | jātau guṇaviśiṣṭāyāṃ samāvarteta tattvavit ||

Translation

Vāyu nói: “Trước hết, sau khi được ‘tinh luyện’ đúng phép bằng các saṃskāra, người ta phải giữ giới brahmacarya cho nghiêm chỉnh, học tập theo quy tắc Veda. Rồi sau đó, bậc tri chân lý nên hoàn tất lễ samāvartana (lễ tốt nghiệp) và bước vào đời sống gia chủ bằng việc kết hôn với một gia tộc nổi bật bởi những phẩm chất cao quý.”
