Kārtavīrya–Samudra Saṃvāda and the Jāmadagnya Precedent (आश्वमेधिक पर्व, अध्याय २९)
समुद्र उवाच महर्षिर्जमदग्निस्ते यदि राजन् परिश्रुत: । तस्य पुत्रस्तवातिथ्यं यथावत् कर्तुमहति
samudra uvāca: maharṣir jamadagnis te yadi rājan pariśrutaḥ | tasya putras tavātithyaṃ yathāvat kartum arhati ||
Đại Dương nói: “Tâu Đại vương, nếu ngài từng nghe danh đại hiền Jamadagni, thì hãy đến ẩn thất của ngài ấy. Con trai ngài, Paraśurāma, xứng đáng và đủ khả năng tiếp đãi ngài chu tất theo đúng lễ nghi.”
