Kuntī–Vyāsa Dialogue on Durvāsā’s Boon and Karṇa’s Birth
यो यदिच्छति यावच्च तावत् स लभते नर: । शयनं भोजन यानं मणिरत्नमथो धनम्
yo yad icchati yāvac ca tāvat sa labhate naraḥ | śayanaṁ bhojanaṁ yānaṁ maṇiratnam atho dhanam ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: Khi ấy, ở nơi ấy, bất cứ ai muốn vật gì—và muốn bao nhiêu—đều nhận đúng bấy nhiêu: giường chiếu, thức ăn, xe cộ, châu báu ngọc ngà và của cải. Cảnh tượng ấy gợi lên một thời khắc sung túc, nơi nhu cầu chính đáng được đáp ứng không phải tranh giành, phản chiếu lý tưởng dharma về sự chăm nom và nâng đỡ những người nương tựa và bậc trưởng thượng.
