अश्रमवासिनां विषादः — Lament in Hastināpura after the Elders’ Forest Withdrawal
विद्यते न भयं चापि परलोकान्ममानघा: । “इसमें संदेह नहीं कि मैं आपलोगोंके दर्शनमात्रसे पवित्र हो गया। निष्पाप महर्षियो! अब मुझे परलोकसे कोई भय नहीं है
vidyate na bhayaṃ cāpi paralokān mamānaghāḥ |
Vaiśaṃpāyana nói: “Hỡi các hiền triết vô tội, ta chẳng hề sợ hãi đời sau. Quả thật, chỉ cần được chiêm bái chư vị, ta đã được thanh tịnh; vì thế không còn nghi ngờ gì: cõi hậu thế không còn là điều kinh hãi đối với ta.”
