यथा चाक्षय्यतां प्राप्तं पुण्यतां च यथा गतम्‌ | सर्वमेतदशेषेण प्रवक्ष्यामि नराधिप

Transliteration

yathā cākṣayyatāṁ prāptaṁ puṇyatāṁ ca yathā gatam | sarvam etad aśeṣeṇa pravakṣyāmi narādhipa nara-īśvara ||

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: “Hỡi Đại vương, chúa tể của loài người, ta sẽ giảng giải trọn vẹn cho ngài biết thế nào là một sự bố thí trở nên bất hoại, và bằng cách nào nó dẫn đến sự thành tựu công đức. Ta sẽ trình bày mọi điều ấy, không bỏ sót điều chi.”
