Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) |

Harmful, adharma-driven magical aggression (kṛtyā) ultimately fails against legitimate spiritual authority and disciplined righteousness; destructive intent rebounds into destruction, while dharmic power functions as restraint and protection rather than cruelty.
Śunaḥsakha reports that a hostile kṛtyā was struck on the head by him with a force likened to the brahmadaṇḍa; it fell to the ground and was reduced to ashes, marking the neutralization of a magically sent threat.
