Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
सा ब्रह्मदण्डकल्पेन तेन मूर्थ्नि हता तदा । कृत्या पपात मेदिन्यां भस्म सा च जगाम ह
sā brahmadaṇḍakalpena tena mūrdhni hatā tadā | kṛtyā papāta medinyāṃ bhasma sā ca jagāma ha ||
Bấy giờ, ông đánh vào đầu nàng bằng sức mạnh như cây trượng Brahma (gậy trừng phạt thiêng). Con kṛtyā độc ác ấy ngã xuống đất và bị thiêu thành tro—người ta vẫn truyền lại như vậy.
