यज्ञ पशुपते: प्रीता वरुणस्य महात्मन: । स्वयम्भुवस्तु ता दृष्टवा रेत: समपतद्‌ भुवि

Transliteration

yajñe paśupateḥ prītā varuṇasya mahātmanaḥ | svayambhuvas tu tā dṛṣṭvā retaḥ samapatad bhuvi ||

Translation

Vasiṣṭha nói: Trong lễ tế của Paśupati, các tiên nữ hoan hỷ, và đại thần Varuṇa cũng hài lòng. Nhưng khi Svayambhū (Brahmā) trông thấy các tiên nữ ấy, tinh dịch của Ngài bất giác rơi xuống mặt đất.
