आग्नेयस्त्वंगिरा: श्रीमान्‌ कविर्राह्मो महायशा: । भार्गवांगिरसौ लोके लोकसंतानलक्षणौ

Transliteration

āgneyas tv aṅgirāḥ śrīmān kavir brāhmo mahāyaśāḥ | bhārgavāṅgirasau loke lokasantānalakṣaṇau ||

Translation

Vasiṣṭha nói: “Aṅgiras, rực rỡ và lẫy lừng, được biết đến với danh xưng Āgneya; còn vị hiền triết đại danh tiếng thì được tôn xưng là Brāhma. Bhṛgu và Aṅgiras—hai bậc ấy được thế gian mô tả như những nguồn mạch định hình các dòng dõi của đời, mở rộng công cuộc sáng tạo qua con cháu của mình.”
