Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
ततोडब्रुवन् देवगणा: पितामहमुपेत्य वै । कृताञ्जलिपुटा: सर्वे शिरोभिरभिवन्द्य च,इस प्रकार विवाद उपस्थित होनेपर समस्त देवताओंने ब्रह्माजीके पास जा दोनों हाथ जोड़ मस्तक झुकाकर उनको प्रणाम किया और कहा--
tato 'bruvan devagaṇāḥ pitāmaham upetya vai | kṛtāñjalipuṭāḥ sarve śirobhir abhivandya ca ||
Khi cuộc tranh chấp đã phát sinh như thế, toàn thể chư thiên đều đến gần Pitāmaha Brahmā. Họ chắp tay cung kính, cúi đầu đảnh lễ, rồi cất lời—cầu xin sự chỉ dẫn để lập lại trật tự và gìn giữ dharma.
