Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
शेषा: प्रजानां पतय: स्रोतोभ्यस्तस्य जज्ञिरे । ऋषयो रोमकूपेभ्य: स्वेदाच्छन्दो बलान्मन:
śeṣāḥ prajānāṁ patayaḥ srotobhyaḥ tasya jajñire | ṛṣayo romakūpebhyaḥ svedāc chando balān manaḥ ||
Vasiṣṭha nói: “Những vị chủ tể còn lại của muôn loài sinh ra từ các dòng kênh trong thân ngài (những dòng của giác quan). Từ các lỗ chân lông sinh ra các bậc hiền triết; từ mồ hôi sinh ra các thể thơ Veda (chandas); và từ tinh lực sinh ra tâm (manas).”
