Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)
ते दीनमनस: सर्वे देवता ऋषयश्न ये । प्रजग्मु: शरण देवं ब्रह्माणमजरं विभुम्,वे सब देवता और ऋषि दीनचित्त हो अजर-अमर एवं सर्वव्यापी देवता भगवान् ब्रह्माकी शरणमें गये
te dīna-manasaḥ sarve devatā ṛṣayaś ca ye | prajagmuḥ śaraṇaṃ devaṃ brahmāṇam ajaraṃ vibhum ||
Bhīṣma nói: Lòng nặng u sầu, tất cả chư thiên và các bậc hiền triết ấy đều đến nương tựa nơi thần Brahmā—đấng không già và hiện hữu khắp nơi—cầu xin sự che chở và chỉ dẫn trong lúc nguy nan.
