Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)

आदित्या वसवो रुद्रा मरुतो5थाश्चिनावपि | साध्याश्च सर्वे संत्रस्ता दैतेयस्य पराक्रमात्‌,आदित्य, वसु, रुद्र, मरुदगण, अश्विनीकुमार तथा साध्य--सभी देवता उस दैत्यके पराक्रमसे संत्रस्त हो उठे थे

ādityā vasavo rudrā maruto ’thāśvināv api | sādhyāś ca sarve saṁtrastā daiteyasya parākramāt ||

Bhīṣma nói: “Các Āditya, các Vasu, các Rudra, các Marut, và cả đôi Aśvin—quả thật toàn thể các Sādhya—đều kinh hãi trước uy lực áp đảo của tên Daiteya ấy.”
