शास्त्रप्रामाण्यसूक्ष्मं तु विधिं पिण्डस्य संस्मरन्‌ | ततो दर्भेषु तत्‌ सर्वमदर्द भरतर्षभ

Transliteration

śāstraprāmāṇyasūkṣmaṃ tu vidhiṃ piṇḍasya saṃsmaran | tato darbheṣu tat sarvam adarda bharatarṣabha ||

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: “Ghi nhớ nghi thức vi tế được śāstra chuẩn nhận cho việc dâng piṇḍa, ta không chiều theo điều hiện ra trước mắt. Chỉ lấy śāstra làm thẩm quyền quyết định, hỡi bậc tráng kiệt dòng Bharata, ta đã dâng hết thảy các piṇḍa trên cỏ darbha đúng theo nghi lễ được chế định.”
