Suvarṇa-dāna: Kārttikeya’s Origin and the Defeat of Tāraka (सुवर्णदान-प्रसङ्गे कार्त्तिकेय-उत्पत्ति तथा तारकवधः)
अत्राप्युदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम् । पितामहस्य संवादमिन्द्रस्य च युधिष्ठिर,युधिष्ठिर! इस विषयमें विद्वान् पुरुष इन्द्र और ब्रह्माजीके इस प्राचीन इतिहासका उदाहरण दिया करते हैं
atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṁ purātanam | pitāmahasya saṁvādam indrasya ca yudhiṣṭhira ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Trong việc này nữa, hỡi Yudhiṣṭhira, người học rộng thường dẫn một tiền lệ cổ xưa—một truyện tích thiêng liêng—chính là cuộc đối thoại giữa Pitāmaha (Brahmā) và Indra, để làm ví dụ.”
