Suvarṇa-dāna: Kārttikeya’s Origin and the Defeat of Tāraka (सुवर्णदान-प्रसङ्गे कार्त्तिकेय-उत्पत्ति तथा तारकवधः)

दिव्यतानेषु गायन्त: पर्युपासन्त त॑ प्रभुम्‌ तत्र दिव्यानि पुष्पाणि प्रावहत्‌ पवनस्तदा

divyatāneṣu gāyantaḥ paryupāsanta taṁ prabhum | tatra divyāni puṣpāṇi prāvahat pavanastadā ||

Bhīṣma nói: “Cất tiếng hát theo những điệu thức thiên giới, họ phụng thờ Đấng Tối Thượng ấy. Khi ấy, Thần Gió đưa hương và những đóa hoa thiêng bay đến nơi đó.” Cảnh tượng gợi nên một hội chúng linh thánh, nơi lòng sùng kính được biểu hiện bằng âm nhạc tinh diệu và lễ vật, cho thấy sự tôn kính chân thật nằm ở hòa điệu, mỹ lệ và nghi lễ trang nghiêm, chứ không phải ở phô trương.
