वृषभ ये प्रयच्छन्ति श्रोत्रियाय परंतप । ऐश्वर्य तेडधिगच्छन्ति जायमाना: पुनः पुन:

Transliteration

vṛṣabhān ye prayacchanti śrotriyāya parantapa | aiśvaryaṃ te ’dhigacchanti jāyamānāḥ punaḥ punaḥ ||

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: “Hỡi bậc diệt thù! Ai đem dâng bò đực cho một brāhmaṇa śrotriya, người thông tỏ Veda, thì sẽ đạt phú quý và quyền thế. Hễ mỗi lần sinh trở lại trong đời này, họ lại nhiều lần được dự phần vận may lớn lao của bậc vương giả.”
