कपिलां ये प्रयच्छन्ति सवत्सां कांस्यदोहनाम्‌ । सुव्रतां वस्त्रसंवीतामुभी लोकौ जयन्ति ते

Transliteration

kapilāṃ ye prayacchanti savatsāṃ kāṃsyadohanām | suvratāṃ vastrasaṃvītām ubhī lokau jayanti te ||

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: “Những ai dâng tặng một con bò kapilā (bò vàng nâu) cùng với bê con—được trang sức chỉnh tề và phủ vải—lại còn trao thêm một bình đồng để vắt sữa, thì sẽ đạt thắng lợi ở cả hai cõi: cõi này và cõi sau.”
