Go-dāna-stuti and Ghṛta-Japa
Praise of cow-gift and ghee-centered recitation
एवमेतान् गुणान् विद्याद् गवादीनां यथाक्रमम् । गोप्रदाता समाप्रोति समस्तानष्टमे क्रमे
Bhīṣma uvāca: evam etān guṇān vidyād gavādīnāṁ yathākramam | gopradātā samāpnoti samastān aṣṭame krame ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Vì thế, phải hiểu rõ theo đúng thứ tự những công đức gắn với bò và các lễ vật liên hệ. Người bố thí bò đạt trọn vẹn quả báo; và quả báo ấy bắt đầu ứng hiện từ bước thứ tám (khi vị Bà-la-môn thọ nhận rời đi mang theo lễ vật).”
