नियमानां फल राजन प्रत्यक्षमिह दृश्यते | नियमानां क्रतूनां च त्वयावाप्तमिदं फलम्,राजन! संसारमें नियमोंके पालनका फल तो प्रत्यक्ष देखा जाता है। तुमने भी यह नियमों और यज्ञोंका ही फल प्राप्त किया है
niyamānāṁ phala rājan pratyakṣam iha dṛśyate | niyamānāṁ kratūnāṁ ca tvayāvāptam idaṁ phalam, rājan ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Tâu Đại vương, quả báo của việc giữ gìn kỷ luật và phép tắc được thấy ngay trong đời này. Quả thật, chính ngài cũng đã đạt được kết quả ấy—nhờ các sự trì giới và những lễ tế (yajña) của ngài.”
