Go-apahāra (Cattle Theft), Go-dāna (Cow-Gift), and Suvarṇa-dakṣiṇā (Gold Fee): Karmic Consequence and Purificatory Merit
सता समागम: सद्िर्नाफल: पार्थ विद्यते | विमुक्तं नरकात् पश्य नृगं साधुसमागमात्
satā samāgamaḥ sadbhir nāphalaḥ pārtha vidyate | vimuktaṃ narakāt paśya nṛgaṃ sādhusamāgamāt ||
Hỡi Pārtha, giao du với bậc hiền thiện chẳng bao giờ là vô ích. Hãy nhìn vua Nṛga—được giải thoát khỏi địa ngục chỉ nhờ tiếp xúc với người chính trực. Bài kệ nhấn mạnh rằng dù chỉ một lần gặp gỡ ngắn ngủi với người tốt cũng có thể trở thành bước ngoặt đạo lý quyết định, đủ nâng người ta khỏi những hậu quả nặng nề nhất của lỗi lầm.
