Gopradāna–Bhūmidāna Guidelines and Recipient Eligibility
अर्ध पापस्य हरति पुरुषस्येह कर्मण: । कृप: प्रवृत्तपानीय: सुप्रवृत्तश्न नित्यश:
ardhaṁ pāpasya harati puruṣasyeha karmaṇaḥ | kṛpaḥ pravṛttapānīyaḥ supravṛttaś ca nityaśaḥ ||
Bhishma nói: Ở đời này, một cái giếng được đào lên bằng lòng từ mẫn, nước tuôn ra dồi dào và liên tục, ngày ngày phục vụ mọi người, thì chính cái giếng ấy gột bỏ một nửa nghiệp ác của người đã làm ra nó.
