जीवन्तं त्वानुजीवन्तु प्रजा: सर्वा युधिष्ठिर । पर्जन्यमिव भूतानि महाद्रुममिवाण्डजा:
jīvantaṃ tvānujīvantu prajāḥ sarvā yudhiṣṭhira | parjanyam iva bhūtāni mahādrumam ivāṇḍajāḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Hỡi Yudhiṣṭhira, nguyện cho toàn thể thần dân nương vào sinh mệnh của con mà sống, cùng con mà hưng thịnh. Như muôn loài nương nhờ mưa, như chim chóc nương nhờ cây đại thụ, cũng vậy, dân chúng hãy nương nơi con.”
