अध्याय ५६ — च्यवन–कुशिकसंवादः
Cyavana–Kuśika Dialogue on Lineage, Conflict, and Transmission
न च तौ चक्रतुः क्रोधं॑ दम्पती सुमहामती । तयो: सम्प्रेक्षतोरेव पुनरन्तर्हितो5भवत्,परंतु उन परम बुद्धिमान् दम्पतिने उनपर क्रोध नहीं प्रकट किया। उन दोनोंके देखते- ही-देखते वे मुनि फिर अन्तर्धान हो गये
na ca tau cakratuḥ krodhaṁ dampatī sumahāmatī | tayoḥ samprekṣator eva punar antarhito 'bhavat ||
Bhishma nói: Đôi vợ chồng tối thượng trí ấy không hề khởi sân đối với họ. Ngay khi hai người còn đang nhìn, vị hiền sĩ lại một lần nữa biến mất khỏi tầm mắt—nêu rõ rằng tự chế và nhẫn nhịn cao hơn sự trả đũa, dù bị khiêu khích.
