गावो लक्ष्म्या: सदा मूलं गोषु पाप्मा न विद्यते । अन्नमेव सदा गावो देवानां परमं हवि:

Transliteration

gāvo lakṣmyāḥ sadā mūlaṃ goṣu pāpmā na vidyate | annam eva sadā gāvo devānāṃ paramaṃ haviḥ ||

Translation

Cyavana nói: “Bò mãi mãi là cội nguồn của phú quý (Lakṣmī). Trong bò không hề có một vết tội lỗi. Quả thật, bò không ngừng ban lương thực cho đời sống con người, và đối với chư thiên, bò là lễ vật tế tự (havis) tối thượng.”
