परिखेदपरित्रासाज्जालस्यथाकर्षणेन च । मत्स्या बभूवुर्व्यापन्ना: स्थलसंस्पर्शनेन च
parikhedaparitrāsāj jālasya athākarṣaṇena ca | matsyā babhūvur vyāpannāḥ sthala-saṁsparśanena ca ||
Bhishma nói: “Vì kiệt sức và hoảng loạn dữ dội do lưới gây ra, vì chính việc kéo lưới lên, lại vì chạm phải mặt đất khô, nhiều con cá đã chết. Thấy cảnh tàn sát ấy, vị hiền triết tràn ngập lòng từ mẫn và hết lần này đến lần khác thở dài thật sâu.”
