युधिषछ्िर उवाच रेतजं विद्य वै पुत्र क्षेत्रजस्यागम: कथम् | अध्यूढं विद्य वै पुत्र भित्ता तु समयं कथम्
Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca: retajaṁ vidya vai putra kṣetrajasyāgamaḥ katham | adhyūḍhaṁ vidya vai putra bhittā tu samayaṁ katham ||
Yudhiṣṭhira thưa: “Thưa ông nội, chúng con chỉ xem người sinh từ hạt giống là con. Không có hạt giống thì làm sao có con kṣetraja được? Và con adhyūḍha thì phải hiểu là con bằng cách ‘phá lệ’ theo quy tắc hay ranh giới tập tục nào?”
