गोमूल्यनिर्णयः — The Determination of Value through the Cow

प्रतिलोम॑ तु वर्धन्ते बाह्माद् बाह्ुतरात् पुनः । हीनाद्धीना: प्रसूयन्ते वर्णा: पजचदशैव तु
pratilomaṁ tu vardhante brāhmād bāhutārāt punaḥ | hīnād hīnāḥ prasūyante varṇāḥ pañcadaśaiva tu ||
Bhīṣma nói: Trong những cuộc phối hợp bị gọi là “pratiloma” (nghịch với trật tự đã định), dòng con cháu sinh sôi thành những dạng pha trộn ngày càng nhiều. Từ kẻ bị xem là “thấp” lại sinh ra những nhóm “thấp hơn nữa”; vì thế người ta nói có tất cả mười lăm loại hạng pha trộn như vậy.
