Ānṛśaṃsya–Bhakti: Śukaḥ Śakreṇa Parīkṣitaḥ
Compassion and Devotion—The Parrot Tested by Indra
अथवा नात्र चित्र हि अभवद् वासवस्य तु । प्राणिनामपि सर्वेषां सर्व सर्वत्र दृश्यते
athavā nātra citra hi abhavad vāsavasya tu | prāṇinām api sarveṣāṁ sarvaṁ sarvatra dṛśyate ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Hoặc nữa, đối với Vāsava (Indra) thì quả thật chẳng có gì đáng kinh ngạc ở đây. Bởi giữa mọi loài hữu tình, mọi sự—mọi dạng—đều có thể thấy ở khắp nơi.” Khi ý niệm ấy khởi lên trong tâm, sự xao động của Indra lắng xuống và tâm ngài trở nên an tĩnh.
