लोकाननुचरनू्‌ सर्वान्‌ देवर्षिनरिद: पुरा । ददर्शाप्सरसं ब्राह्मीं पडचचूडामनिन्दिताम्‌

Transliteration

lokān anucaran sarvān devarṣi-nāradaḥ purā | dadarśāpsarasaṃ brāhmīṃ pañcacūḍām aninditām ||

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: Thuở xưa, khi thiên tiên Nārada du hành khắp các cõi, một ngày kia nơi cảnh giới của Phạm Thiên, ngài trông thấy một apsaras không tì vết tên Pañcacūḍā—cuộc gặp gỡ mở đầu cho lời suy ngẫm về hạnh kiểm và sức mạnh của gương mẫu cao đẹp.
