Viśvāmitra-janma: Ṛcīka–Satyavatī–Gādhi and the Charu Exchange (विश्वामित्र-जन्म: ऋचीक–सत्यवती–गाधि वृत्तान्तः)
कन्या जज्ञे सुतात् तस्य वने निवसत: सतः । नाम्ना सत्यवती नाम रूपेणाप्रतिमा भुवि
kanyā jajñe sutāt tasya vane nivasataḥ sataḥ | nāmnā satyavatī nāma rūpeṇāpratimā bhuvi ||
Bhīṣma nói: Khi nhà vua sống trong rừng, một người con gái đã ra đời. Nàng được đặt tên là Satyavatī, và trên cõi đất này sắc đẹp của nàng không ai sánh kịp—một hiện diện phi thường, về sau sẽ trở nên then chốt trong sự tiếp nối hoàng tộc và bổn phận theo dharma.
