Viśvāmitra-janma: Ṛcīka–Satyavatī–Gādhi and the Charu Exchange (विश्वामित्र-जन्म: ऋचीक–सत्यवती–गाधि वृत्तान्तः)
ध्यातमात्रमचीकेन हयानां चन्द्रवर्चसाम् | गड्ाजलात् समुत्तस्थी सहस्नं विपुलौजसाम्,तदनन्तर ऋचीकके चिन्तन करते ही गंगाजीके जलसे चन्द्रमाके समान कान्तिवाले एक हजार तेजस्वी घोड़े प्रकट हो गये
dhyātamātram ṛcīkena hayānāṃ candravarcasām | gaṅgājalāt samuttiṣṭhī sahasraṃ vipulaujasām ||
Bhishma nói: Ngay khi hiền triết Ṛcīka chỉ vừa khởi niệm quán tưởng, từ dòng nước sông Hằng (Gaṅgā) liền vọt lên một nghìn con ngựa—rạng ngời như ánh trăng và tràn đầy dũng lực. Câu chuyện này nêu bật uy lực của tư duy được kỷ luật và sức mạnh khổ hạnh: ý chí nội tâm cùng công đức tâm linh có thể hiển lộ thành kết quả hữu hình, không cần bạo lực hay cưỡng ép.
