इति श्रीमहाभारते अनुशासनपर्वणि दानधर्मपर्वणि ब्राह्मणप्रशंसायां पज्चत्रिंशो 5 ध्याय:,इस प्रकार श्रीमह्ाभारत अनुशासनपर्वके अन्तर्गत दानधर्मपर्वमें ब्राह्मणकी प्रशंसाविषयक पैतीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

Transliteration

iti śrīmahābhārate anuśāsanaparvaṇi dānadharmaparvaṇi brāhmaṇapraśaṃsāyāṃ pañcatriṃśo 'dhyāyaḥ

Translation

Bhīṣma kết luận: “Như vậy, trong bộ Mahābhārata thiêng liêng, thuộc Anuśāsana Parva—đặc biệt trong phần nói về dharma của việc bố thí—chương thứ ba mươi lăm, bàn về sự tán dương các Bà-la-môn, đến đây là hết.” Công thức kết thúc này đặt toàn bộ lời giảng trước đó vào khuôn khổ giáo huấn đạo đức: bố thí (dāna) phải được dẫn dắt bởi dharma, và lòng tôn kính đối với các Bà-la-môn uyên học, nghiêm trì kỷ luật được xem như một trụ cột của trật tự xã hội và đời sống tâm linh.
