ब्राह्मणपूजा-राजधर्मः | Royal Duty of Honoring Learned Brahmins

अस्येदानीं वधादद्य भविष्याम्यनृण: पितु: । इतना ही नहीं

asyedānīṁ vadhād adya bhaviṣyāmy anṛṇaḥ pituḥ |

Bhishma nói: “Nếu hôm nay ta giết hắn, rốt cuộc ta sẽ thoát khỏi món nợ đối với phụ vương. Không chỉ thế—các con trai hắn đã tàn phá toàn cõi Kāśī và cướp sạch kho tàng châu báu tích trữ. Trong cơn kiêu mạn, ta đã giết một trăm người con của vua ấy; nay chỉ còn bọn này. Nếu giờ ta giết nốt họ, ta có được giải thoát khỏi nghĩa vụ đối với phụ vương chăng?”
