मातङ्ग–शक्रसंवादः
Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
यथा सुराणाममृतं पितृणां च यथा स्वधा । सुधा यथा च नागानां तथा गड्भाजलं नृणाम्
yathā surāṇām amṛtaṃ pitṝṇāṃ ca yathā svadhā | sudhā yathā ca nāgānāṃ tathā gaṅgā-jalaṃ nṛṇām ||
Như cam lộ làm thỏa mãn chư thiên, như lễ phẩm svadhā làm thỏa mãn tổ tiên, và như sudhā làm thỏa mãn loài nāga, thì đối với loài người, chỉ riêng nước sông Hằng (Gaṅgā) đem lại sự thỏa mãn trọn vẹn. Bậc Siddha vì thế tán dương nước Hằng như một chỗ nương tựa độc nhất vừa thanh tịnh vừa viên mãn cho đời sống tôn giáo của con người, đặt nó ngang hàng với dưỡng chất thích đáng của từng cõi loài.
