Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
शिलवृत्तेगहं प्राप्त: स तेन विधिनार्चित: । उवास रजनी तत्र सुमुख: सुखभागृषि:
śilavṛtte gṛhaṁ prāptaḥ sa tena vidhinārcitaḥ | uvāsa rajanīṁ tatra sumukhaḥ sukhabhāg ṛṣiḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Đến nhà của một gia chủ sống theo hạnh khổ hạnh, chỉ nương nhờ việc nhặt lượm hạt thóc rơi (śiloccavṛtti), bậc thành tựu ấy được tiếp đãi và cúng dường đúng nghi lễ. Rồi vị ṛṣi an trú nơi đó suốt đêm trong an lạc; gương mặt ngài thanh thản và hoan hỷ—biểu lộ sự mãn nguyện phát sinh khi lòng hiếu khách được thực hành theo dharma.”
