The verse teaches that disciplined pilgrimage—bathing, offering water-oblations, and ritual purification at designated tīrthas—functions as a dharmic means of inner cleansing, culminating in a state described as 'brahma-bhūta', i.e., spiritually elevated and radiant with purity.
The speaker enumerates the spiritual fruits of visiting specific sacred sites: bathing at Karavīrapura, performing the water-rite at Viśālā, and purification at Devahṛda, declaring that these acts together confer a transformative, exalted spiritual condition.
