तीर्थवंशोपदेशः

Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters

निवृत्ता मधुमांसे भ्य: परदारेभ्य एव च | निवत्ताश्चैव मद्येभ्यस्ते नरा: स्वर्गगामिन:,जो मद, मांस, मदिरा और परस्त्रीसे दूर रहते हैं, वे मनुष्य स्वर्गलोकमें जाते हैं

nivṛttā madhu-māṁsebhyaḥ para-dārebhya eva ca | nivṛttāś caiva madye bhyas te narāḥ svarga-gāminaḥ ||

Bhīṣma nói: Những người kiêng mật và thịt, lại tránh xa vợ của kẻ khác, và cũng không dính vào rượu cùng các chất gây say—những người ấy được lên cõi trời.
