अहिंसयित्वा ब्रह्महत्याविधानम् / Brahmahatyā incurred without physical violence
भीष्म उवाच श्रद्धापूतो नरस्तात दुर्दान्तोी5पि न संशय: । पूतो भवति सर्वत्र किमुत त्वं महाद्युते
bhīṣma uvāca śraddhāpūto naras tāta durdānto 'pi na saṁśayaḥ | pūto bhavati sarvatra kim uta tvaṁ mahādyute ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Này con, dù là người khó tự chế ngự đến đâu, chỉ nhờ lòng tín (śraddhā) mà cũng được thanh tịnh—điều ấy không có gì nghi ngờ. Người được thanh tịnh bởi tín tâm thì ở đâu cũng thanh tịnh; huống chi là con—hỡi bậc đại uy quang—tâm tính lại thuận theo Dharma (Chánh pháp), thì còn nghi ngờ gì về sự thanh tịnh của con?”
