अद्टावक्र उवाच हरन्ति दोषजातानि नरं जात॑ यथेच्छकम्‌ | प्रभवामि सदा धृत्या भद्रे स्वशयनं व्रज

Transliteration

aṣṭāvakra uvāca | haranti doṣajātāni naraṃ jātaṃ yathecchakam | prabhavāmi sadā dhṛtyā bhadre svaśayanaṃ vraja |

Translation

Aṣṭāvakra nói: “Hỡi phu nhân cao quý, mọi cụm tội lỗi và sai lầm đều chụp lấy kẻ đàn ông sống theo ý thích buông thả. Còn ta, nhờ sự kiên định và tự chế, luôn chế ngự được chính mình. Vậy nên, hãy trở về giường của nàng.”
