Gṛhastha-Vrata

व्याधितो वा कृशो वापि तस्मिन्‌ नाभून्नर: क्वचित्‌ । उनके राज्यमें कहीं कोई भी कृपण, दुर्गतिग्रस्त, रोगी अथवा दुर्बल मनुष्य नहीं दृष्टिगोचर होता था

vyādhito vā kṛśo vāpi tasmin nābhūn naraḥ kvacit |

Bhīṣma nói: Trong cõi nước ấy, không nơi nào thấy người mắc bệnh hay gầy mòn vì suy nhược; cũng chẳng thấy kẻ keo kiệt, kẻ bần cùng hay người chịu khổ. Lời này nêu lên lý tưởng vương đạo: trị quốc được đo bằng việc dân chúng không còn cảnh nghèo đói, bị bỏ mặc, và những khổ đau có thể phòng tránh.
