देवा देवर्षयश्लैव स्तुता राजर्षयस्तथा । पुष्टिमायुर्यश: स्वर्ग विधास्यन्ति ममेश्वरा:
devā devarṣayaś caiva stutā rājarṣayas tathā | puṣṭim āyur yaśaḥ svargaṁ vidhāsyanti mameśvarāḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Khi các vị thần, các thiên thánh (devarṣi) và các vương thánh (rājarṣi) được tán dương, thì chính họ—những quyền năng tối thượng—sẽ ban cho ta sự sung dưỡng và an lạc, thọ mạng lâu dài, danh tiếng, và sự đạt đến cõi trời.”
