लोकपालोडन््तर्तितात्मा प्रसादो हयगर्दभि: । पवित्र च महांश्नैव नियमो नियमाश्रित:
lokapālo ’ntarhitātmā prasādo hayagardabhiḥ | pavitraṃ ca mahāṃś caiva niyamo niyamāśritaḥ ||
Thần Vāyu nói: “Ngài là Đấng Hộ Trì các thế giới, vận hành trong hình tướng vô hình, luôn đầy ắp sự an hòa từ ái. Ngài ngự trên cỗ xe được thắng bởi ngựa và la. Ngài thanh tịnh và vô cùng đáng tôn kính; có thể đạt đến nhờ việc giữ gìn các kỷ luật như thanh sạch và tri túc, và chính Ngài là chỗ nương tựa, là nền tảng của những kỷ luật ấy.”
