शक्तितश्नरितं वक्ष्ये प्रसादात्‌ तस्य धीमत: । अप्राप्य तु ततो<नुज्ञां न शक्‍्यः स्तोतुमी श्वरः

Transliteration

śaktitaḥ saṅkṣiptaṁ vakṣye prasādāt tasya dhīmataḥ | aprāpya tu tato 'nujñāṁ na śakyaḥ stotum īśvaraḥ ||

Translation

Vāyu nói: “Dựa vào năng lực hạn hẹp của ta, ta sẽ trình bày một bản tóm lược—về công hạnh của Ngài và một bài tán tụng Ngài—chỉ nhờ ân sủng của Mahādeva bậc trí ấy. Nhưng nếu chưa nhận được sự cho phép của Ngài, thì không thể nào ca ngợi Đấng Tối Thượng ấy.”
